Learn How BlueCross BlueShield Can Help You

Dental insurance is a way to lower your out-of-pocket costs when receiving any preventive or restorative treatment. If you have an existing plan through your employer or purchased on your own, you already understand how valuable these savings can be, especially when a problem occurs. At Troisi Dentistry, we believe in making dental care affordable so all patients can enjoy the benefits of a healthy smile. This is why we are pleased to be an in-network BlueCross BlueShield dentist in Chesapeake. If you are enrolled in a plan through BCBS, let us know when you call to schedule an appointment.
BlueCross BlueShield Coverage Availability & Fees

Preventive and restorative coverage are what you can expect when reviewing your BCBS policy. Although each plan is slightly different, the primary components look similar:
- Preventive dental care that includes regular exams, cleanings, and X-rays: 100% covered
- Minor restorative care that includes dental fillings and simple tooth extractions: 80%
- Major restorative care that includes dental crowns, dentures, complex tooth extractions: 50%
You must enroll in a BCBS plan and make monthly premium payments to maintain access to your available benefits and take advantage of these savings.
When filing a claim for treatment, your insurance company will determine if you’ve met your deductible and if you have enough of your annual maximum left to partially cover your case. Based on their findings, our team at Troisi Dentistry will do our best to keep your expenses low.
