Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Zane Wayland Berry’s studies began at the College of William and Mary, which is where he earned his undergraduate degree. From there, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). However, his pursuit of education was far from over. In addition to completing a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Langley Air Force Base and serving as a dentist in the United States Air Force Dental Corps for two years, he earned his certificate in dentofacial orthopedics and orthodontics from the New York University School of Dentistry! To this day, he prioritizes advanced training through memberships with professional organizations, including the:
- American Association of Orthodontists
- Academy of General Dentistry
- American Dental Association
Perhaps most impressive, he won the “Top Dentist” award in the orthodontic category in Coastal Virginia Magazine for over 5 years in a row!
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Outside of his orthodontic office, Dr. Berry enjoys reading, working on cars and motorcycles, listening to music, golfing, and fishing.
